Why Indian cricket team is not participating in Asian games  BCCI is not sending the Indian cricket team to the Asian games because of the champions league T20. 4 teams from India is participating in CLT20 2014. Even India sends a team of not so efficient players India could win the gold medal. BCCI is giving more importance to league matches than the international matches. India could send the team consisting of the following players: S. Dhawan, DS Kulkarni, Mohammed Shami, AR Patel, I Sharma, D Karthik, B Kumar, Pankaj Singh C Pujara, U Yadav, Binny, V Kohli, A Mishra, Rahane, Sanju V Samson.

TEACHER'S DAY IN INDIA (SEPTEMBER 5) Teacher's day in India is celebrated in the remembrance of S. Radhakrishnan who was the first Vice- President of India and the second President.  .
