           SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES AND CHILDREN

                        Nowadays most people are addicted to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Of them children aged between 7-18 are most. Almost all the students have a profile in those sites. It has many advantages and disadvantages.
                
                                    ADVANTAGES

*The main advantage is that it helps in establishing connection       with people, friends, and relatives who are abroad.
*Students can share their ideas among others.
*Social networking sites are also used for fun and entertainment.
*It helps the students in grabbing information.
*It also helps the children to mingle with eminent personalities and  can understand many values from them.

 Though it has many advantages it also has a set of disadvantages.
                                 
                                    DISADVANTAGES

*The main disadvantage is many children get addicted to it and they spend a lot of time for it. 
*They cannot concentrate in their studies. Their minds clutter up with obscenity.                       
*Some children tend to use these sites even late at nights. This may lead them to many health problems.
*Some students may spend time in these sites through which they lack to spend time with their family members. 
*Some may be deceived by these sites, some others develop illicit relationships. 
*Some may face lack of sleep.
*It may affect our self-esteem and causes behavioral problems.  
SYMPTOMS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ADDICTED TO SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES                


*Disinterested in studies and work.
*Tendency to log in  within minutes.
*Thinking about the likes grabbed by the profile picture.
      
                      WHAT WE SHOULD DO ?

 *We should use these sites only for a fixed time.
*Don't post anything that causes damage to our privacy.
*Make friendship with those who are familiar to us and faithful to us.
*If you have a problem Face it, don't Facebook it.
*Spend more time for direct friendship.

The Importance of Attendance One of the most important thing a student can do to achieve academic success is  going to school every day.It is also the basic habit that one should achieve  In fact, research has shown that a student's attendance record may be the biggest factor influencing his/her academic success. You can never become a good participant if you are absent. By absenteeism we mean not only taking frequent leaves.  There are four types of absentees: 1. Those who take frequent leaves. 2. Those who come late or leave early. 3. Those who take frequent breaks from work or class. 4. Those who are physically present but mentally absent.
